SRINAGAR: Militant today made an abortive bid to blow up a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) bunker in the downtown city, official sources said.
They said militants hurled a hand grenade towards a CRPF bunket at Seki Dafar in the downtown around 1130 hrs. However, the grenade missed the intended target and exploded on the roadside causing damage to several vehicles.
Details are awaited, they said, adding that this was the first such attack in the down town after several years. (AGENCIES)
