Bali helps TASC Jammu to beat PSPCL Club Patiala

KATHUA, Dec 18: Brilliant innings of 62 runs off 52 balls by Pardeep Bali helped TA Sports Club Jammu to defeat PSPCL Club Patiala by 3 wickets in the 5th match of the ongoing 6th Police Martyrs Memorial North Zone Inter Club T20 Cricket Championship, played  at Sports Stadium, here today.
PSPCL Club Patiala won the toss and elected to bat first and set a target of 126 runs by losing 6 wickets in 20 overs.  Himanshu scored 41 runs off 30 balls with 2 sixes and 2 boundaries, while Hitesh   contributed 37 runs in 38 balls with 2 boundaries. Vijay Dogra of  TA Sports Club Jammu took 2 wickets by giving away 33 runs in his 4 overs.
TA Sports Club Jammu, in reply chased the target in 19.5 overs by losing 7 wickets, thus won the match by 3 wickets. Pardeep Bali made 62 runs and was declared as man of the match. He was presented a cash prize of Rs. 1500 and a trophy.
