KATHUA, Dec 20: In connection with Geeta Jayanti celebrations a function was held at Maha Kaleshwar Temple here today.
During the function Subash Shastri a spiritual saint of Ghagwal Ashram gave sermons to the gathering. He threw light on the teachings of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta and said that it is the sacred book of the world which teaches a human being how to get rid of the bondages of life and attain salvation.
A large number of devotees drawn from different parts of Kathua district attended the function.
