JAMMU, Dec 20: Daffodils Care Convent Pre School celebrated its 3rd Annual Day function at Gujjar Charitable Trust, Channu Highway Road, here.
The celebrations were held with great enthusiasm and zeal.
The glittering ceremony commenced with the welcoming of the chief guest, Rajesh Gupta, MLA Jammu East and the guest of honour, Vijay Gupta.
The ceremonial lamp was lighted by the chief guest amid chanting of Gayatri Mantra by the special invitees and parents.
The function commenced with remembering Lord Ganesha by presenting Ganesh Vandhana. The little ones showcased a beautiful performance to protect nature and to keep its beauty.
A poem recited by one of the girls brought tears in everyone’s eyes through which she requested all the fathers not to think of their daughters as a burden for them.
The main attraction of the occasion was the folk dance of different States which highlighted the theme of the occasion.
Shikha Puri presented the annual report.
The chief guest, Rajesh Gupta complimented the management, Principal and the staff members of the School for putting up a good show.
Manpreet Kour presented the vote of thanks.
