JAMMU, Sept 5: Two under-trial accused in murder case clashed outside the Court complex this morning at Janipura leading to injuries to one of them.
Reports said two under-trials in same murder case had been taken out of District Jail, Ambphalla to the Court this morning for producing them in the Court where they were facing trial.
One of the under-trials, Gurbachan Singh, son of Jaggu Singh R/o Kotli, RS Pura hit his associate in the murder Ravi Kumar, son of Ram Dass, a resident of the same village, with a handcuff, causing him injuries.
Police escorts immediately segregated both the under-trials. Ravi Kumar was shifted to Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu, where he was given first-aid and shifted back to the jail. Gurbachan was also sent back to the jail.
Reports said both the under-trials reportedly clashed over making payment to their Advocate.
Police was investigating the case.
