Vikramaditya inspects rebuilding of Jwalaji Temple Khrew

SRINAGAR, Dec 23: Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Vikramaditya Singh today visited the ancient Mata Jawalaji Temple at Khrew for taking on spot assessment of ongoing reconstruction work. The said shrine was gutted in fire incident last year.
Vikramaditya Singh is also a Trustee of the J&K Dharmarth Trust.
The chairman of the Trust, Dr. Karan Singh (MP) had directed that work on reconstruction should begin at the earliest. It was also decided that the Trust and the local Samiti would work together towards collecting funds and overseeing work.
Vikramaditya Singh after offering Puja Archana held a meeting with members of local Kashmiri  Pandit community and construction agency in charge Ravi Bhat. Vikramaditya was accompanied by Additional Secretary and Joint Secretary of J&K Dharmarth Trust. He was informed that almost Rs.25. lakh have already been spent on the construction work so far and rest of work is going on as per schedule. The Trustee also directed on spot for other certain protective and developmental measures of the Shrine property. He was also accompanied by royal family members who  performed special puja at the holy shrine.
