Tiny Scholars celebrate ‘Umang 2015’

JAMMU, Dec 25: The Tiny Scholars Higher Secondary School, Kathua today celebrated its Annual Day ‘Umang 2015’ in the School premises, here today.
Rajiv Jasrotia, MLA Kathua was the chief guest on the occasion, while Dr Bharat Bhushan, Chief Executive Officer, Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority was the guest of honour. Ashwani Kumar, DFO Kathua was the special guest on the occasion.
The programme started with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the chief guest and other dignitaries, which was followed by  Sarsawati Vandana.
Manisha Gupta, Principal of the School, who presided over the function presented the progress report of the school.
The students presented variety of cultural and entertaining programme which was liked by the audience present on the occasion. The students presented thematic items on national integration, folk dances of India and education of Girl Child.
Mr Jasrotia in his address outlined the need for imparting quality education to the students so as to make them better citizens of tomorrow.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Sushil Gupta, Senior Advocate and Chairman of the School, Karan Singh, Sarpanch Loagte, and Bholi Singh, Ex Sarpanch.
The programme ended with the recited of National Anthem.
