Poster, Painting competition organized

JAMMU, Sept 5: As part of the Health Week 2012, the White Knight Garrison organised a Poster and Painting Competition for the students of Sainik School, Kendriya Vidyalaya and Army Public School, Nagrota, here.
The competition was aimed at spreading health awareness among the students of the schools of Nagrota garrison. The participants unleashed their creativity and produced magic with their art. Posters pertained to various health topics like ‘Health is Wealth’, ‘Prevention of disease is better than cure’, ‘Smoking kills’, ‘Eat Healthy Be Healthy’ and ‘All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy’.
The event was organised under the aegis of Medical Branch, HQ 16 Corps. Sixty one students from Sainik School, Army Public School and Kendriya Vidhyalaya, Nagrota participated in the competition.
The judges had a difficult time in selecting the best posters, as the quality of art work was superb.
