JAMMU, Dec 27: Scripting a thrilling win on the last ball of the match over Simula Cricket Club, New Challenger Cricket Club lifted the title trophy of the KC Sports Club T20 cricket Cup at KC School ground, here today.
Earlier, Simula Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first, Simula Cricket Club made a modest total of 102 runs. Puneet Kumar amd Dhruv Mahajan contributed 24 and 12 runs respectively. Sumit took 3 wickets for New Challenger Club, while Sahil and Soumay Jain took 2 wickets each. Vishwajeet also claimed  1 wicket.
New Challenger Cricket Club finished the match on the last ball and won the title. From NCCC, Bansi Lal and Vimarsh Kaw made 32 and 21 runs respectively. For Simula Cricket Club, Gulzar, Sameer Khajuria and Mohit took 3, 2 and 1 wickets respectively.
Hilal Rather, MD of  Simula Group was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed the prizes among the winners and runners-up teams. Sumit of New Challenger Cricket Club was declared man of the match who took 3 important wickets at a crucial juncture.
