JAMMU, Dec 29: Khalsa Club Gole Gujral defeated Deshmesh Club by five goals to one (5-1) in the Jammu District Senior Hockey Tournament, being organized by Hockey J&K at KK Hakhu Astroturf Hockey Stadium, here.
For Khalsa Club, Matinderpal Singh scored three goals in 2nd, 4th and 35th minutes, while the other 2 goals were scored by Surinder Singh and Karanjeet Singh in 34th and 39th minutes respectively.
For Deshmesh Club, Nanak Nagar, the goal was scored by Tajinder Singh in 55th minute.
V K Tandon was the chief guest, while Rajinder Singh was the guest of honour.
The match was officiated by Jagjeet Singh, M R Senapati, Joginder Singh, Karanjeet Singh and Abhishek.
