JAMMU, Dec 29: Chander Bhaga High School (CBHS), Akhnoor celebrated annual prize distribution function in school campus.
The function started with the lighting of the lamp by chief guest SSP Traffic Mohan Lal along with guest of honour Deputy Chief Education Officer Akhnoor, Suraj Singh Rathor. Nazneen Akhtar, ZEO Akhnoor, Baljeet Singh Jamwal, Principal, Government Boys Higher Secondary School Akhnoor, Ashok Kumar, Principal, Government Girls Higher Secondary School Akhnoor and Management of School, Raman Gupta and Aradhana Mahajan were also present.
Principal of CBHS Pawan Bhardwaj gave a brief presentation regarding academic and co-curricular activities of the school besides various achievements of the school during the year. He reassured that the management of the school will leave no stone un-turned to provide highest quality education and imparting good moral values which serve as building blocks for being a responsible citizen.
On the occasion, school children presented various colorful dance items, which were highly appreciated by the audience.
Later, mementoes and certificates were distributed among the students who excelled in academic, sports and creative fields.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Mohan Lal said that it is duty of every school to impart value based quality education to each and every child enrolled in school, while at the same time it is needed to develop their social skills, manners and respect for others.
The programme culminated with the singing of National Anthem.
