Social Forestry employees meet Bali Bhagat

JAMMU, Dec 30: A delegation of J&K Social Forestry Employees & Workers Union met the Minister for Forest, Environment and Ecology Bali Bhagat here today and projected their long pending demands.
Led by State president of the Union, Raj Singh Pawar, the members raised the issues pertaining to promotion of Junior Malis and amendment in the service rules of the department. They also projected other issued related to workers’ welfare.
Later, the delegation met the Director Social Forestry Suresh Chug in his office chamber at Talab Tillo  and also apprised him of their issues. They said if the issues were not resolved  the union will be left with the only option  to launch agitation.
Prominent among others who accompanied included Piran Ditta, Sehdev Singh, Updesh Singh, Rampal, Bimal Kumar, Dollat Ram, Ashok Kumar, Mirza Bashir, Hardev Singh and GR Geelani.
