JAMMU, Dec 30: A young man today made an abortive attempt on his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Bantalab area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the youth identified as Arvind Kumar (22) son of Balu Dass, a resident of Bihar, at present residing at Bantalab in outskirts of Jammu, allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence following which he was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment.
The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
