Sir,
This is to draw the attention of the Director General of Police, towards the fact that it is need of the hour to bring allied departments under one roof for investigation. The departments that need to be housed in one building are Forensic Science Laboratory (ii) Crime Deptt. (iii) SRTC Deptt, (iv) Prosecution Deptt.
As these departments are located at different places in the city, it involves loss of money and time to coordinate activities with each other and creates hurdles in speedy investigation. Once these departments are housed in one building, the quick interface between them would help in speedy investigation.
Therefore, the Government should identify the land for the purpose and house these department there.
