JAMMU, Jan 10: The workers of Shiv Sena (SS) under the leadership of president  Ashok Gupta protested here today against the Pakistan by burning the Pakistani flag for not taking any action against the handlers of the Pathankot attack.  The protesters burnt the Pakistani Flag to vent their anger against the terror attack, in which security men were killed.
The talks with Pakistan should be cancelled till it takes action against the handlers and terrorists involved in the Pathankot attack as it will act as a surety towards the fact that this time Pakistan is serious towards the peace talks as earlier India has been betrayed on the  name of the talks, said Mr Gupta while addressing the protesters.
“It is a very serious matter as seven days after PM Modi visited Pakistan to meet his counterpart Nawaz Sharif, a terrorist module comes from Pakistan, attacks Punjab and our frontline security installation”, he said.
He said the terror attack which took place yesterday is mainly a blockage or hindrance between the talks carried out both the countries. The attack was not unexpected as a section of people  across the border unhappy with any bilateral progress towards peace between both the neighbouring countries engineered the same. Any time that there has been a hint of seriousness in both between India and Pakistan to work towards a rapprochement, sections that stand to lose from this have tried to create tensions, he added.
He said this terror attack is meant to derail the peace process and the same pattern has been followed when former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee visited Pakistan to start peace talks between both the countries with Pakistan sending its infiltrators in Kargil for attack.
