JAMMU, Jan 11: As a prelude to ‘Army Day Celebrations’, Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under Delta Force organized ‘Slogan Writing and Painting Competition’ for school children at Channi and Dharmkot, here.
A ‘Slogan Writing Competition’ was organized at Dharamkot, which was inaugurated by Raj Kumar Kotwal, Nambardar, Puneja.
A total of 37 students participated in the competition.
The chief guest presented prizes to the winners on the occasion.
A ‘Painting Competition’ was organized at Channi.
Om Prakash Kotwal, Sarpanch Jalga inaugurated the competition.
A total of 38 students participated in the competition.
Native persons and children’s of the school have appreciated the efforts of the Indian Army in organizing such event which will infuse the values of belongingness and sacrifice in the children and the youth of the region.
