PDP to review ‘achievements’

Srinagar, Jan 13: Senior leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today held their first meeting with president, Mehbooba Mufti, in chair and said that the party will review the achievements, if any, made during last year before taking final decision on the formation of Government.
Sources said that the Mehbooba held meeting with few top leaders of the PDP and discussed the formation of the new Government. The meeting decided to review how much PDP has succeeded to fulfill Mufti’s vision during last year.
The party leaders said in the meeting that Mufti made alliance with the BJP on the agenda of governance so that the State makes it progress on the path of development.
The meeting said Mufti entered into alliance with BJP not to form the Government but to work for the development of the State and peace in the region.
The meeting said that aim of the PDP was not power but represent people of Jammu and Kashmir to fulfill their rights and expectations.
The meeting said that before formation of the new Government they will review what they achieved by making alliance with the BJP.
