JAMMU, Jan 15: Revenue and Police Departments today carried out anti-encroachment drive in Karnail Chal area of Satwari.
As per official spokesperson, on the directions of DC Jammu Simrandeep Singh, a team of revenue officials headed by Tehsildar Jammu Abid Hussain and assisted by SHO Satwari Inspector Manjeet Singh removed encroachments from several kanals of State land in Karnail Chal area of Satwari.
Nine kanals of land was retrieved, which was encroached by land grabbers.
Accordingly a case has been registered in this regard also.
