Law School outplays GCET by 62 runs

JAMMU, Jan 18: Law School prevailed over GCET by a big margin of 62 runs in the ongoing Inter-Collegiate Cricket Tournament, being organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, here.
Earlier, batting first, Law School scored a fighting total of 136 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Shahrukh Khan was the top scorer with 51 runs, while Gourav Khajuria and Chander Dev contributed 41 and 28 respectively. For GCET, Anshuman and Arun Kapoor claimed one wicket each.
In reply, GCET bundled out for a paltry total of 74 runs in 13.4 overs, thus lost the match by 62 runs. Shivam was the only batsman to cross double figure mark, scoring 12 runs. Irfan Ghani and Abid took 3 wickets each, while Anil Rathore and Vijender claimed 2 wickets each.
The match was officiated by Saleem-ur-Rehman, Jagtar Singh, Raj Kumar Bakshi and Manu Khajuria.
