JAMMU, Jan 19: A one day ‘Quiz competition programme for secondary classes was organized by the Mathematics Wing of the State Institute of Education (SIE), here today.
A total of 24 students of Jammu province participated along with their escort teachers in the competition.
A total of 8 teams participated in the quiz competition. Team G, HSS Meen Sarkar (Samba) won 1st prize , while the 2nd and 3rd prizes was won by team A HS Pajgrain (Jammu) and Team D, Ex-serviceman HSS Thathri (Doda).
The programme was presided over by Joint Director, Mohd Iqbal who exhorted upon the participants to take part in such competitions for enhancing their knowledge and competitive skills.
The programme was co-ordinate by Kashmir Singh RO, while logistic support was provided by Alka Sharma R.O and Nahida Akhter R.O.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were field Advisors Brij Lal and Nath Ram and research officers Charan Dass, Rajesh Sharma and Puneet Thukral.
