JAMMU, Jan 22: Present-ation Convent Senior Secondary School, Gandhi Nagar organized 61st Sports Meet in the School premises, here today.
Students participated in the Meet with great zeal and gusto.
The programme began with a speech by sports captain of the School, which was followed by flag hoisting ceremony by chief guest, Sr Stella, Manager of the School.
March Past was performed by the students in their respective squads.
Various races were organized on the occasion, wherein students displayed their talent and skill and vied for the top honours.
The winners were awarded with medals and certificates on the occasion. Avneet Kour of class XI and Jasmine Kour of class IX were adjudged as the athletes of the year. The cock shield was bagged by Peace House.
The meritorious students of class X who achieved 10 CGPA in the Board results were felicitated on the occasion.
