JAMMU, Jan 27: One of a nationally and internationally known magic realist artist of the State Suman Gupta has been invited to showcase his art works in 2016 edition of “India Art Fair”.
The show will be organized by Gallery Nvya in which some of the main stream artists from India and abroad are invited to showcase their art works.
Sponsored by eminent partner BMW, the 2016 edition of India Art Fair (IAF) will open to visitors on January 29 and continue until January 31 at NSIC Grounds, Okhla Industrial Area, New Delhi.
Suman Gupta in the recent time has started experimenting with his favorite medium egg tempera and has produced some of the finest works on gessoes wood panel, paper as well as on canvas. The subjects mostly consisting of the elements taken from nature, human dwellers in his immediate surroundings, the annual migration of the nomadic groups from the highland region of shivalik hills to the plains in the start of winter.
