The first T20 Cricket match between India and New Zealand was called off due to heavy downpour here today, without a ball being bowled.
A large number of spectators who had purchased tickets and reached the stadium hoping to watch the return of Yuvraj Singh, who was making a comeback after an illness, and Harbhajan Singh, who got a chance to play in an international match after a gap of almost one year, were disappointed as rain played spoilsport.
