JAMMU, Jan 28: Delhi Public School (DPS), Jammu defeated Army Public School (APS), Kaluchak by a huge margin of 105 runs in the ongoing Inter-School Under-16 Boys Cricket Tournament, being organized by Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy (MGCA) at Academy grounds, here.
Batting first, DPS scored a mammoth total of 222 run in the stipulated 20 overs. Musaif Ajaz was the top scorer with 74 runs, while Aryan Gandral contributed 69 runs the total. Ayush Singh Slathia also scored 33 runs. For APS Kaluchak, Paras and Aryaman claimed one wicket each.
In reply, APS scored 117 runs, thus lost the match by a big margin of 105 runs. Asinandan and Aryaman scored 32 and 27 respectively. Ankush Gill was the pick of the bowlers for DPS, who scalped 4 important wickets. He was adjudged as man of the match for this performance.
The Tournament is being organized under the supervision of coach, Sunil Kumar and Sachin Singh.
