RAJOURI, Jan 29: The Traffic Police authorities today during naka at Salani bridge challaned several school buses of the area for over loading, driving without valid license and others, in sheer violation of the Supreme Court directives.
An official spokesman said that during special Naka at Salani Bridge, Rajouri today, two school drivers of Valley View Public School were found without license while many vehicles were over loaded and the drivers were not wearing uniforms. Most of them were also not wearing name plates.
The general public of the area had complained to the administration regarding over loading in school buses/ vans and recovery of huge amount by the managements of these schools as transport charges. Upon this, the special drive was launched. It was surprising to note that two drivers were engaged having no driving license, risking the lives of the school children. Heavy fine was imposed on the violators.
