CHENANI, Jan 29: National Conference Block Committee Chenani today strongly protested against relocating of wine shop from National Highway to ward number -1 in Chenani Town. The shop is situated near the mosque and so many Government offices besides thick population of the town.
The demonstrators were led by NC district president Sunil Verma, block president Surinder Sharma and woman leader Pushpa Dogra. They raised slogans demanding shifting of wine shop from the town.
Those who took part in the demonstration, included Ghulam Rasool, Sansar Chand, Mohd Rafiq, Anannt Ram, Vidya Devi, Vidya Barsloo and others.
