JAMMU, Jan 30: New Challenger Cricket Club defeated Wave Cricket Club easily in the ongoing KC Sports Club Cup, being played at KC School ground, here.
Wave CC won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored 141 runs in 20 overs. Sweet was the top scorer with 54 runs, while Chandeep made 22 runs. For New Challenger Club, Soumay Jain and Sumeet Singh took 4 wickets each.
While chasing the target, New Challenger Cricket Club finished the match in 17 overs. Manjeet was the top scorer with 76 runs, while Soumay Jain and Pranav Gupta contributed 40 and 19 runs respectively. From Wave Club, Sunny took one wicket. Soumay Jain of New challenger Cricket Club was declared as man of the match. The match was officiated by Vicky Raina, Rajinder Singh and Madan.
