JAMMU, Feb 1: The Finance Department today cleared Rs 2000 crores worth dues of contractors, supplies and payments pending under the Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSSs).
Official sources said the Finance Department cleared the dues under the directions of Governor NN Vohra,
“All pending dues of contractors and suppliers apart from the payments under the Centrally Sponsored Schemes amounting to Rs 2000 crores have been cleared,’’ they said.
Only few days back, the Finance Department had cleared Rs 1500 crores worth dues of the GP Fund of the Government employees.
