Arora calls on CS, JMC & CAPD officials

JAMMU, Feb 4: BJP Senior leader & MLC Ramesh Arora (Adv.) met with Chief Secretary and Municipal officials and apprised them about mushroom growth of Momo shops, meat reharis and encroachment in Jammu city.
He informed these officers that these shops are working without any Government control and unhygienic food is served to consumer which may cause health problems.
Chief Secretary was requested to authorize Municipal officials also to check this abuse as adulterated milk in the city is very common and resulting into various problems due to mixing of adulterated unsafe water. He asked him to take effective measures to check this problem.
Ramesh Arora also met CAPD authorities and took stock of the situation about delay in distribution of ration. The concerned Director and others assured that all suggested steps will be implemented for speedy distribution of ration in Jammu city and adjoining areas.
Arora also apprised Chief Secretary about the excess charges charged by SRTC in transportation of food grains to Kargil-Leh and pointed out difference between the rates, charged in the open market. Chief Secretary assured that immediately matter will be taken up and inquiry will be initiated against the concerned.
Arora expressed hope that elected popular representatives will form government as early as possible as development should not suffer. But during this transactory period all government officials should work day and night for the redressal of problems and public in general should be satisfied. Unnecessary delay in moving the file should not hamper the working and it is their moral obligations to speed up and complete all matters and schemes initiated in public interest.
