KATRA, Feb 10: Delhi Public School, SMVDU, Katra today held an impressive function to celebrate its ‘Annual Sports Day’ for Pre-Primary Wing in which all the students participated enthusiastically in the school premises, here.
Sunil Kumar, Commandant 6 Battalion CRPF, Katra was the chief guest on the occasion while R K Verma, Principal and Vandna Sharma, Headmistress of the school were also present.
The students of Pre-primary wing participated in different races and cultural items including karate demonstration.
In his address, MrKumar appreciated the various events organized by the school and team of teachers who did a commendable job in training the students for the sports events in the beginning years.
He also lauded the efforts of the parents and distributed medals among the winners of various games.
S S Sodhi, Director DPS, Katra lauded the efforts of the school staff and the students for their excellent performance.
