JAMMU, Feb 12: Four tents of security personnel gutted in fire near Green Belt Park area, falling under the jurisdiction of Gandhi Nagar police station.
As per police sources, a tent of security personnel caught fire under mysterious circumstances near Green Belt Park area in Gandhi Nagar, which later spread to three other tents.
After getting information, police rushed to the spot and fire fighters along with fire tenders were pressed into service.
The fire was brought under control after sometime, but till then the tents and the items kept therein were gutted in fire.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
The tents were of security personnel deployed with MY Tarigami and Abdul Majeed, MLAs and Shantmanu, Chief Electoral Officer.
A case in this regard has been registered at Gandhi Nagar police station and investigation started.
