JAMMU, Feb 12: Shri Martand Tirath Trust in its meeting here today held under the leadership of its president A K Sidha discussed various issues regarding the development of Tirath Raj Martand and Surya Bhawan Paloura.
The meeting said that this year Suriya Saptami the birth day of Lord Maha Matanda is falling on February 14. It said prior to 1990 the Surya Saptami was being celebrated at holy shrine of Martand and after displacement of the community the day is celebrated at Surya Bhawan, Paloura Jammu. This year as usual the function will start with a Maha Yagya on February 13 and it will culminate next day with Puranahuti and serving of prashad to devotees.
