JAMMU, Feb 13: Nav Yug Play Way School organised Annual Sports Day with great zeal and enthusiasm in the school premises .
About 110 students from classes Nursery, LKG, UKG and 1st participated in the event.
Chander Kanta Jamwal, Principal of the Institute declared the event open by releasing the balloons in the air. Various types of field events like banana race, Pick n run , 50m Race, Tug of war along with Musical chair etc added to the excitement and thrill of the event.
The prizes were distributed among the students for their excellent performance in various events of the sports.
Winners included Yashasvi, Prithvi, Parinidhi, Laksh, Lakshya, Stenzin, Suryansh, Kartavya, Vansh, Aalekh, Chhavi and the runners-up were Drishti, Alvi, Arnav, Angmo, Urvee, Anmol, Piyush, Prabhraj, Vansh, Ishita, Himanshi, Ansh, Kamaksh, Aniket, Ritika, Arushi, Aditi, Krishiv, Tanish, Namish and Anirudh.
Medals were distributed among the winners by the dignitaries on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Hardev Singh Jamwal, Managing Director of the school, congratulated the winners for their superb performance.
