This is to request the Finance Minister Government of India that Govt. previously ordered non filling of I.T returns w.e.f assessment year 2012-2013 in respect of persons having yearly income upto 5.00 lacs. However, they were required to obtain form-16 from the concerned after deducting tax at source.
It is requested that this practice of non-filling of I.T returns, by persons, having yearly income upto 5 lacs be continued. This will help pensioner. The senior citizens having only pension as source of income deserve to be given some relief in view of their falling health and other allied problems.
