BHADERWAH, Feb 20: Football Tournament being organized by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, Bhaderwah under Delta Force organized for boys got underway at Bihota, here today.
A total of eight teams of different schools, colleges and clubs from Bhadarwah are participating in the Tournament. The competition was inaugurated by Arshid Hussain, Sarpanch, Chilot in presence of students, teachers and local villagers. Mr Hussain appreciated the efforts of Delta Force in promoting and motivating the students towards sports.
The inaugural match was played between Friends Club, Bihota and Chilot Strikers, Chilot. Friends Club, Bihota won the match by three goals to one (3-1).
A number of locals witnessed the event from several nearby villages and appreciated the efforts of Delta Force for the conduct of the Tournament.
The civil administration also thanked Delta Force for organizing this event and said that these kind of activities provide a platform to the youth of their region to hone their sports talent.
