SCIENTIA International School celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Feb 21: SCIENTIA International School, in association with SHEMROCK celebrated its Annual Day Function today in the school premises with theme ‘Atulya Bharat’ where young kids displayed their abundant talent impressing one and all.
The function started with ‘Saraswati Vandana’ and lighting of ceremonial lamp by the chief guest, Prof Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu, Prof Indu Aima, guest of honour, Zorawar Singh Jamwal, Secretary General, Press Club of Jammu and president Team Jammu and special guest, Dr Arvinder Singh Aman, Additional Secretary, Academy of Art Culture and Languages.
Director of the School, Bharti Bhardwaj presented the Annual Report while students of LKG and senior classes presented different items on various facets of life which included skit on “Swachh – Bharat Abhiyaan” that stole the show while Chillar Party got appreciation from all the parents.
Some Martial-Art items were presented by the students with great energy and zest. Sufi items enthralled the soul and mind of viewers.
Certificates were given to students who had received gold, bronze and silver in Olympiad, certificates from Help-Age encouraged the students for noble cause. Prizes were distributed among the students for various achievements throughout the year.
Chief guest, Prof Ashok Aima, in his address praised the SHEMROCK and SCIENTIA for giving such a stage exposure to all kids and grooming young talent and encouraged staff with his words.
Guest of honour, Zorawar Singh Jamwal and special guest, Dr Arvinder Singh Aman also lauded the role of the Scientia international for nurturing young talent.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included Kuldip Magotra, Vice Chairman,  Parshotam Bhardwaj, Chairman and senior journalist and social activist King C Bharti, Managing Director, Education Flash.
