J&K Kick Boxing Jr team wins galaxy of medals

JAMMU, Feb 24: The Jammu and Kashmir State team won galaxy of medals in the Junior National Kick Boxing Championship and Federation Cup held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi, recently.
The team won 9 medals with 3 gold, 1 silver and 5 bronze. The gold medals were bagged by Vipul Jamwal, Abhay Sharma and Shelender Kumar, while Surjeet Kumar bagged silver medal and the bronze medals went to Yup Partap Singh, Vishal Singh Manhas, Bhavik Sharma, Priya Sharma and Deepanshu Gupta.
The team was accompanied by Arun Singh Charak, International Referee and State Technical Director and Danish Padha, National Referee as coaches.
After returning back from Delhi, the team was welcomed by Abhishek Jain, general secretary Kick Boxing Association of J&K, who was accompanied by Varun Magotra and Gaurav Chopra, vice presidents of KAJK.
