SRINAGAR, Mar 4: Vigilance Organization Kashmir has booked Executive Officer, Municipal Committee Bandipora for managing Government job on the basis of fake Diploma certificate of Sanitary Inspector.
A case FIR No. 07/2016, under Section 5(1) (d) r/w 5(2) J&K P.C. Act Svt. 2006 and Section 420,467, 468 and 471 RPC has been registered against Shakeel Ahmad Shah of Bandipora, presently posted as in charge Executive Officer Municipal Committee Bandipora/Hajin, following Vigilance verification on a complaint that the accused officer was having fake diploma certificate of Sanitary Inspector which he had produced to secure his entry in the Department of Urban Local Bodies Kashmir etc.
During verification it was revealed that the said officer has appeared in the examination of Sanitary Inspector Part-II during J&K State Medical Faculty Examination Session August 1988 through Charitable Mobile Hospital Srinagar and was declared fail but under the guise of rechecking he managed to obtain certificate showing the accused beneficiary as pass.
Verification has further revealed that no such Diploma certificate has been issued by the State Para Medical Council, Govt Medical College Srinagar, in favour of the beneficiary accused. It has been found that beneficiary accused has managed a fake diploma certificate dishonestly and fraudulently and resultantly secured his entry in the department of Urban Local Bodies Kashmir.
