JAMMU, Mar 4: Little Champs Playway School, New Plots celebrated its 4thAnnual Day function and prize distribution ceremony today in the Auditorium of Govt. Women’s College, Gandhi Nagar with great enthusiasm, zeal, fun and frolic.
Ajay Sadhotra, Former Minister for Planning & Development, Labour & Employment was the chief guest on the occasion, while Chander Mohan Sharma, Senior NC leader was the guest of honour and special guest were Pawan Gupta, National Media Foundation president, the Chair person Capt Vinay Abrol and the Principal Sonal Abrol were also present on the occasion along with other dignitaries.
The function started with the lighting of traditional lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana presented by the Sr. Kg & Jr.Kg Children. The students of pre-nursery presented a fancy dress show based on theme Indian Forces. Other students of pre-nursery presented fancy dress show based on various cartoon characters.
A colourful cultural programme was presented by the students. The various attractions of the event were Clown dance, dogri dance, Skit on story Snow white and 7 Dwarfs, dance on Spanish song, dance performance on “Naani Teeri Moorni”, “Rail Chali”, “Dum Dum Damroo”, “Damma Dam Mast Qalandar” etc and in Sports – Karate self defense techniques were highly appreciated and applauded by the audience present on the occasion.
The prize distribution ceremony for the graduating class was also held and awards under various other categories were also presented to the students. Chief guest and the guest of honour also facilitated the students of Senior KG on their Graduation Ceremony.
Mrs Abrol presented annual report and vote of thanks.
