JKGBOA, JKGBEA hold protest, project demands

JAMMU, Mar 11: As per all India strike, Jammu and Kashmir Grameen Bank Officer’s Association (JKGBOA) and Jammu and Kashmir Grameen Bank Employees Association (JKGBEA) also held two days protest here regarding their genuine demands.
Large number of officers and employees assembled at head office of J&K Grameen Bank at Narwal and raised slogans in favour their demands.
The protestors were demanding; Stop privatization of RRBs; Introduce compassionate appointment scheme in RRB in line with sponsor bank with retrospective effect; Immediate introduction of Pension-PF scheme in line with sponsor banks; and Implementation of complete bipartite settlement in terms of NIT Award.
They also demanded simultaneous execution of wage, allowance and other benefits related instruction of DFS for sponsor banks in RRB too, Scrap Mitra Committee HR recommendation, stoppage to outsourcing in RRB, and regularisation of part-time/daily waged workers.
They further demanded payment of graduation increment to remaining newly recruited Office Assistants, uniform and equal gratuity payment scheme for RRB’s officer and workmen, implementation of Sponsor Bank’s Service Regulation to RRB in the interest of equity and justice and that IBA should be declared as apex level negotiating forum for RRBs too.
President, JKGBOA Upinder Sharma, general secretary Ranjit Kapoor , President, JKGBEA Rampal Sharma and general secretary Dushyant Khajuria asked the participants to remain united till their demands are redressed.
