JAMMU, Mar 19: Secretariat Green Cricket Club defeated their rivals convincingly to enter the next round of the ongoing Jammu Premier League (JPL)-2 at GGM Science College Hostel Ground, here.
The Tournament is being organized by Karwan-e-Hussaini, a Social Welfare Society.
Earlier, batting first, Moving Blue Cricket Club scored a a modest total of 112 runs in the allotted 20 overs.
In reply, Secretariat Green Cricket Club chased the target in 19.1 overs by losing 5 wickets to win the match by 5 wickets. Arshid was the pick of the bowlers, who took 4 important wickets, while Mehraj emerged as the best batsman for Secretariat Green Cricket Club. Arshid was adjudged as man of the match for taking 5 wickets for Secretariat Green Cricket Club.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik and Sanju as umpires, while Dalip Singh was the scorer.
