JKP Centre, Miran Sahib CC enter semifinals of JPL-2

JAMMU, Mar 20: Miran Sahib Cricket Club and JKP Centre defeated their rivals convincingly to seal berth in the semifinals of the ongoing Jammu Premier League (JPL)-2 at GGM Science College Hostel Ground, here.
The Tournament is being organized by Karwan-e-Hussaini, Social Welfare Society.
Earlier, in the first match, Miran Sahib Club defeated Dhoni Cricket Club by 7 wickets. Batting first, Dhoni Cricket Club scored a meagre total of 97 runs. Prince top scored with 19 runs. Sachin was the pick of the bowlers for Miran Sahib Cricket Club, who took 3 important wickets.
In reply, Miran Sahib Cricket Club chased the target in 13.4 overs. Irshad top scored with 38 runs. Sanjay claimed 1 wicket for Dhoni Cricket Club. Chamkor was declared as man of the match for his superb bowling display, scalping 4 important wickets by giving away 20 runs in his 4 overs.
In another match, JKP Centre Cricket Club defeated Shahenshah Club by 53 runs in an easy contest. JKP Centre Cricket Club scored a decent total of 162 runs. Khalid scored 55 runs, while Manzoor took 5 wickets.
In reply, Shahensha  Cricket Club managed to score 109 runs in 18.3 overs. Jimmy top scored for Shahensha Club with 24 runs. Ishtiaq scored quick-fire unbeaten 47 off 23 balls, while Manzoor Ilahi was adjudged as man of the match.
The match was officiated by Madan Verma and Sanju as umpires, while Ankan Sharma was the scorer.
