This is to draw the attention of the Director School Education, Jammu towards the pending verification of masters, teachers. The Director is requested to expedite the process of verification and submit the list of bonafide candidate to Commissioner/Secretary for promotions in respective subjects. It may be mentioned here that the Directorate of Education, Srinagar has completed the process almost six months ago. The promotions have been withheld because the Jammu Director has yet to submit the lists.
The tardy pace at which verification process is going on is creating anxiety among the candidates. The delay is not only affecting their career prospects but also affecting the educational process in schools.
Most of the educational institutions are suffering due to shortage of subject lecturers. Now when the transfers are due to take in June, new promotions will be help in rationalisation of staff in schools.
It is, therefore, once again requested that the verification process be completed at the earliest to save the career of teacher fraternity.
