JAMMU, Mar 21: Divine Light Convent School, Sai Road, Dablehar, RS Pura celebrated its 1st Annual Day Function in School premises, here today.
Sham Lal Chodhary, MLA Suchetgarh was the chief guest of the occasion and S Kulwinder Singh, Sarpanch Halqa Dablehar, Naresh Bittu, Sarpanch and S Rashpal Singh Gill, Sarpanch were the guest of honour.
The programme started with the traditional lighting of the lamp followed by a melodious Saraswati Vandana.
Rekha Gupta, Principal of the School presented welcome address.
A variety of colorful items were presented by the students on the occasion.
Dogri, Punjabi and English dances were presented by tiny tots, which thrilled the audience. Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest appreciated the efforts made by the School Management to make the function a success.
Prizes were also distributed among the meritorious students of the School.
The program concluded with the vote of thanks presented by the Principal of the School.
Prominent among others who attended the function included Jagdish Gupta, Chairman of the School, S Jasbir Singh, Chairman Unique Higher Secondary School, Gadi Garh, Jammu and other dignitaries.
