JAMMU, Mar 25: To infuse the spirit of National Integration and Nationalism among the students, Bhagat Singh Sports Club Nichla organised a Sports Meet at village Nichla of Samba District for toddlers in the memory of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
The Meet was inaugurated by Mahant Shri Manohar Lal Sharma in the presence of Pandit Sunny Prashar.
As many as 43 kids of the village participated in the Meet. The competition was held in the discipline of athletics and the events included 100 meters race, 200 meters race, shot put and discus throw.
Manish, Vipun Sharma and Kaniya won gold, silver and bronze medals in 100 meters race respectively, while Aditya Singh, Vishal Sharma and Abhinandan Prashar got gold, silver and bronze medals in 200 meters race.
Similarly, Vishal got gold, Abhinandan silver and Rahul Sharma bronze in shot put, while Abhinandan secures gold, Vishal silver and Aditya bronze in discus.
Hardev Prashar Kailash Sharma and Sanjay Prashar were also present on the occasion.
