JP World School organizes Talent Hunt Competition

JAMMU, Mar 27: In a bid to give wings to children to pursue their dreams and bring out their hidden talents, J P World School, Channi, Jammu organized the Talent Hunt Competition in the school premises, here.
The competition was open for all children whether studying in Public or Government Schools of the city.
More than 200 students participated in it.  Ashok Kumar Manhas, Managing Trustee of the school graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The programme began with the lightening of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest and principal of JP World School, Jitender Singh Hundal. Nagar Singh Choudhary-the Founder Chairman of Choudhary Charitable Trust presided over the function and Dr Panna Manhas was the guest of honour on the occasion.
The lighting of the lamp was followed by a welcome song presented by the students of host school.  The competition was held in three different age categories 3-5, 5-7, 7-12 for Dance, Singing, Poetry Recitation and Painting.
At the end of the competition, the participants and winners were given away the prizes by the chief guest and the Principal.
In dance competition, the winners were Sonakshi Nayar, Asia Sharma and Naisha Makroo in senior, middle and junior categories respectively.
In singing competition Akshdbhya Sharma, Sargam and Vyom Garg bagged first position in junior, middle and senior categories respectively. Sanatam Gupta, Samiksha Sawhney and Ayat Fatima were declared as winners in poetry recitation. In drawing competition Nishit Verma Nivedita and Rashmi turned out to be winners.
The winners, 1st Runner Up and 2nd runners-up were given a cash prize of Rs 3100, Rs 2100, Rs 1100 respectively along with trophy and certificate.
The competition concluded with vote of thanks by the Principal of the school in which he also highlighted the achievements of the School.
