DODA, Mar 31: A Quiz Competition was organized by Range Police Headquarters, Batote under Civic Action Programme at Govt Girls Higher Secondary School, here.
Twenty one students from Govt. Girls and Boys Hr Secondary School Doda, Shaheen Public Hr Secondary School Doda, Faridya Model Hr. Secondary School, Doda, Green Model Hr. Secondary School, Doda, Paramount Public HSS Doda and Govt. Boys HSS Ghat participated in the Competition.
Faridya Model School Doda secured the 1st. position, while Govt. Girls HSS Doda bagged 2nd position and Govt. HSS (Boys) Doda and Green Model HSS Doda shared 3rd position.
SSP Doda, Z N Manhas, Additional SP Doda, Vinay Kumar and Principals of Govt. Boys and Girls HSS Doda were present among other Police officers on the occasion.
Manhas exhorted upon the students / participants to focus on constructive activities and desists from social evils and anti-national/anti-social activities.
SSP Doda also threw light on the concept and idea of Civic Action Programme and efforts of J&K Police to bridge the gap between Police & Public and providing the multiple avenues to the students for skill development, honoring and also giving opportunities for competing at various levels.
