Majeen Sidhra Stars, Sidhra Scorpions register wins, sail to next stages

JAMMU, Apr 2: Majeen Sidhra and Sidhra Scorpions registered wins on their opponents and sailed into the next stages of the ongoing Maruti Suzuki Nagrota Premier League Tournament, an initiative of MLA Devender Singh Rana at Bajalta play field.
In the first match, Majeen Sidhra Stars registered win over Pargalta Friends by 11 runs.
After winning the toss, Majeen Sidhra Stars elected to bat first and scored 123 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in stipulated 14 overs.
Chasing the target, Pargalta Friends managed to score only 112 runs by losing all wickets.
Majeen Sidhra Stars won the match by 11 runs. Surinder for his 51 runs was declared as man of the match.
The second match was played between Sidhra Scorpions and Royal Game Changers Toll Post Nagrota, in which former emerged winner by 7 wickets.
Winning the toss, Royal Game Changers Toll Post Nagrota decided to bat first and managed to score 110 runs in 14 overs for the loss of 9 wickets.
Sidhra Scorpions chased the target comfortably in 10 overs by losing only 3 wickets.
Ahrar was declared as man of the match for his bowling performance.
The matches were officiated by Madan Mohan and Suresh Singh from J&K Youth Services and Sports.
The matches were played under the overall supervision of Faheem Tak, vice president Take-1 Channel and Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, Member Organizing Committee.
