JAMMU, Apr 5: Outplaying their rivals convincingly in the quarterfinals, Law Department and the Department of Sanskrit sealed berth in the semifinals of the ongoing Inter-Department Cricket Tournament, being organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu AT Varsity ground, here.
In the 1st quarterfinal, Law Department defeated Department of ICCCR & HRM by a huge margin of 102 runs, while in another quarterfinal match, Department of Sanskrit outplayed Law School in a close contest by a narrow margin of 3 runs.
The matches were officiated by Mukesh Sharma, Rahul Sharma, Vinay Manhas, Jagtar Singh, Sat Paul and In-charge of the Tournament, Raj Kumar Bakshi, Cricket Coach.
The matches are being held under the supervision of Prof Dhian S. Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu.
