‘Hunar Se Rozgar’ concludes

JAMMU, Apr 6: Organized by Delta Force, the third batch of the ‘Hunar Se Rozgar’, a job oriented course, was concluded at Food Craft Institute (FCI), Jammu.
The course was started for 33 candidates from February 24 and concluded on Tuesday. It was a ‘dream come true’ for the youth of entire Chenab Valley when the Rashtriya Rifles located at Bhadarwah under Delta Force undertook this mega drive for youth empowerment in collaboration with Food Craft Institute, Jammu and Bhadarwah.
Through this project in every two months,  job oriented courses on the spheres of ‘Food Production, Bakery and Patisserie, Food and Beverage Services and Housekeeping’ will be conducted at Food Craft Institute, Jammu under its scheme ‘Hunar Se Rozgar’.
The valedictory-cum-certificate distribution ceremony of the course was held today at Dharmund, Batote. Major General SS Tinaikar, General Officer Commanding, Delta Force addressed the candidates and distributed certificates to the trainees.
Jyoti Bhatti, Principal, FCI Jammu was also felicitated by the General Officer during the ceremony. In collaboration with FCI Jammu, the Rashtriya Rifles located at Bhadarwah also facilitated placement of 28 candidates at renowned hotels across Jammu and Kashmir, Mumbai and Chennai.
This noble idea was undertaken by Delta Force to empower the unemployed and uneducated youth of the entire Chenab Valley by making them skilled by imparting job oriented training so as to establish them in the society and earn their livelihood.
Delta Force through the conceived project has found suitable unemployed youth, both boys and girls, from the socially and economically backward strata of the society and is facilitating them with free training on various courses at Food Craft Institute, Jammu.
